Life after Graduation

Planning for life after graduation in today’s world can be challenging and includes many pathways to consider.

To help parents navigate these options with their children, the district will host Parents as Education and Career Coaches, an interactive virtual workshop, on Wed. Oct. 13, 2021.

The workshop is presented by EducationPlannerBC and will provide information to support decision-making about a wide range of careers. This session is for parents and guardians of students at all stages in their career-planning process, including those in grades 9 – 11 who are choosing which electives to take, as well as those in grade 12 who are getting ready for graduation.

EducationPlannerBC provides an innovative platform with timely, concise and accurate information on all public post-secondary education, training and related careers in British Columbia.

In this seminar, parents can expect:

  • An overview of all the resources available on
  • Various pathways available for students
  • Supports available at post-secondary institutions
  • Tips on scholarships and financial aid
  • Q & A
